Intervention, the 1997 U.K. National SF Convention (Eastercon), will be the year's major U.K. gathering for anyone interested in SF and SF Fandom. It will take place over the weekend of 28–31 March 1996 at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool, U.K.
We intend to use our main theme of Communication to fascinate, educate, amuse and engage the imagination with subjects such as 'Talking to the Stars', 'Mass Communications', 'Language, Truth and Logic' and 'Speaking in Tongues'. You will also be able to enjoy a mix of small-scale events, off-beat entertainment and light-hearted chat in the fan-friendly atmosphere of one of the most popular venues for fannish communication in the country.
